Having morning sickness pretty much every day, although still no throwing up. At least I know something's going on still.

I am showing a little bit in normal clothing, but I haven't gotten out my maternity clothing yet. As soon as I see a heartbeat, that's my cue!

In Case You're Still Wondering...

I'm still pregnant. I'm nearly 6 weeks along.



Now the test line stole all of the control line's dye b/c I am so pregnant :)
I've been doing belly shots again. Just for fun, I decided to "stick it out" as far as I could. I discovered I could look 6 months pregnant if I wanted to. I guess that's what happens when you already have 1 under your belt.

BFP!

I've been waiting and waiting to post this, but we hadn't told all family yet, and so it had to wait until now.

We got our BFP on Thursday, February 26th at 10 DPO. It was very faint, but my trained eye is very good at seeing even a light positive result.



I showed Jon, but he couldn't quite make it out like I could. So, when he went to work, I headed out to the drugstore to get a digital (or two) test. Within a minute, both brands confirmed what I already knew in my heart:



So, our new baby that we are cautiously expecting is due November 9th, 2009. My first appointment is Friday, March 27th, and then we will have the ultrasound the following week. Please pray for a heatbeat!

This will be the new baby's blog. I am affectionately calling my new baby, "sticky bean" for now, because I am thinking positively.

I've had many pg symptoms, but not the same ones this time around, so far. They say every pregnancy is different. No true cravings yet, but meat sounds gross, unless it's full of salt. That might be okay. I just woke up from an hour and a half nap, so maybe the real fatigue is setting in now, too.

New Hope

I haven't blogged in a couple of months because it's been discouraging. In November, I ovulated over Thanksgiving. In December, I ovulated over Christmas. My OB was closed & so those months were wasted. I just couldn't catch a break. In January, I was all set to do Clomid/IUI, but I somehow missed my LH surge, even though my progesterone level confirmed that I ovulated. I don't think I have ever missed a surge. That will teach me to use the Walgreen's OPK's. So this month, I used the CBE Digital OPK's & got the confident smiley face to tell me when to go in. And that day was yesterday.

It went really well. The sample looked the best it has ever looked, according to the tech. I feel pretty good about this time. Time will tell. Now I just have to wait it out for 11 more days.

Unfortunately

We did not conceive a July '09 baby. We are on to the next cycle, but have been informed that I will probably ovulate over the holiday weekend, so we are not doing Clomid/IUI this month. Of course, we will still try the old fashioned way, but that's never worked before, so I am almost writing this cycle off.

BFN

Started testing again, even though I am only 8 DPIUI. BFN. I have had cramping all day, though, which makes me very hopeful.

Had to take a nap when Jon came home.

Threw out my sugar-free pudding b/c it tasted like medicine.

I am hoping these are all good things.

Ouch!

I am happy to report that I felt some ovulation-type pain on my right side this afternoon. Of course, it's a little early, but it's entirely possible for it to be implantation. I remember feeling implantation when I was preggo with Corbin on my right side, too. With him, I felt my implantation on Saturday night, and I finally got my BFP on Wednesday. So even though I know it's sooooo early, this confirms the fact that I will begin testing at 9 DPiui.
It could also be a hormonal thing, though.
